Published: 29/11/2016 14:53:00 | Category: Admissions and Appeals

Carre’s Grammar School and Kesteven and Sleaford High School, as the Robert Carre Trust, are proposing to make changes to their admissions policies for 2018-19.  In accordance with the School Admissions Code we are required to consult for a minimum of 6 weeks.  The draft policies are available on our websites at www.carres.uk and www.kshs.uk and the proposed changes are:

Carre’s Grammar School

Addition of criteria for children on Free School Meals
The extension of the sibling criteria to include both schools in the Robert Carre Trust
Removal of priority for those in the designated transport area, but instead to those living nearest to the school by straight line distance
Removal of ranking children by 11+ score in the last criteria

Kesteven and Sleaford High School

Addition of criteria for children on Free School Meals
The extension of the sibling criteria to include both schools in the Robert Carre Trust.

If there are any comments, these should be directed to Julie.body@carres.uk or helen.gill@kshs.uk by 11 January 2017.
